Want to make sure that karate is right for your children? In this course you determine if karate is an activity you want to pursue. This course is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of karate with an emphasis on Respect, Self Esteem & Personal Discipline.

Respect: We train and track each student's ability to complete tasks the first time they are told.

Personal Discipline: We teach and track the student's ability to initiate responsibilities.

Self Esteem: We help our students to understand their value and to believe in themselves no matter what.

Our Black Belt Course, which is by invitation only, is a club designed to take our students to first degree Black Belt level. Black Belt Club membership is offered to students who have acquired the basic skills taught in the Trial Course, have demonstrated a willingness to learn and a commitment to personal discipline in class, and who have the full support of their parents. This is where we introduce the full range of our curriculum as well as one-on-one sparring, board breaking, and training with protective pads. In the Black Belt Club we expect our students to adopt the Black Belt Mentality and start acting like a Black Belt. As they do this they will learn to become self starters and embark on a remarkable personal journey to one of the greatest accomplishments they will make in their lives – earning a Black Belt!

The Leadership Team is designed for students who show the desire to lead others. In this program we increase the time spent training and the expectations of their attitude and technique. The Leadership Team also teaches the following weapons: nunchaku, bo, kama, sword and the escrima sticks. In addition to the physical training, we hold a leadership lesson every month covering The Dojo’s ten leadership attributes. This is a team atmosphere where we teach our students how to be independent and interdependent.
